Ian leads a small team within the Transport Division of DHL Supply Chain UK & Ireland, and is responsible for developing and delivering the transport decarbonisation strategy for its UK&I operations, in line with the DHL Groups ambitious sustainability commitments.

Ian works closely with customers and operational leaders to align goals, and deliver mutually beneficial roadmaps to cost effectively decarbonise road transport.

With over 20 years’ experience within 3PL transport, Ian began his career as part of Exel’s European Graduate Management programme, focused on transport operations. Over the last 10 years his career has been dedicated to delivering transport change and innovation, with a focus on fleet efficiency and sustainability.

Ian holds a Design & Technology degree from Coventry University and is currently undertaking a MSC in Sustainable Business.
