Clem is the new Spanish dealer for Smith Electric Vehicles.  The firm will sell Smith battery-powered vans, minibuses and trucks from its 16 sites across the country.  Based in Valencia, Clem employs 130 people including 40 mobile service engineers.  It has more than 25 years electric vehicle experience and is already a distributor for Garia luxury golf carts, Segway and Taylor-Dunn.  Clem will get its first Smith electric vehicles in early 2011, for trials with major fleet operators.  Smith's growing network already covers Hong Kong, France, Iceland and Ireland.
