Solera unveils the power of AI for fleet safety, productivity and optimisation at CV Show

Fleet visitors can explore the benefits of Solera’s AI-powered fleets technologies which increase connectivity, lower costs and improve sustainability on stand 5C70.

Solera, the global leader in vehicle lifecycle management, is inviting CV Show visitors to explore the next generation of affordable, high-tech fleet management solutions that use the power of artificial intelligence to improve vehicle and driver safety, lower business operating costs and make fleets more sustainable.

Solera’s range of fleet management solutions, which combine road safety, business productivity and cost reduction, allow operators to connect their vehicles, protect their drivers and optimise their fleets. The solutions equip fleet operators with the data, technology, and tools they need for smarter, more efficient, and safer driving practices while delivering optimised fleet performance for routing and dispatch services.

For the first time in the UK, the Solera team will demonstrate the power of its Edge AI-equipped driver safety solution, Solera Protect, and its optimisation and business intelligence product, RoadNet Anywhere.

Unmissable benefits

Operators using Solera’s fleet solutions benefit from reduced mileage and driver overtime, which leads to time savings (in planning) and the ability to optimise a smaller fleet.

Visitors of the CV Show are invited to book a personal demonstration of Solera Fleet Solutions’ latest AI-enabled road safety and route optimisation technologies to see how these products bring new levels of productivity and protection to their fleets.

Visitors who book in advance will also have the chance to win a signed Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 shirt.

“We are enabling connected vehicles, optimised routes and protected drivers, with affordable technology which allows operators to not just survive current cost and operational pressures, but to thrive,” said Mark Tiana, Vice president of Solera Fleet Solutions.

The CV Show is being held at the NEC Birmingham, April 18-20, 2023.

Solera can help fleets with solutions like:

Solera Protect

Solera Protect is a cost-effective, streamlined version of the company’s renowned video-led risk management system, Solera SmartDrive. It is designed to cater to the needs and budgets of smaller fleet operators, who require immediate risk reduction for minimal outlay.

Protect is enabled with Edge AI, it immediately alerts drivers of risky manoeuvres, cutting the risk of collision in real time, as well as being a powerful coaching tool.

“Our range of fleet products creates connected, optimised and protected fleets, which boosts productivity and lowers collision, mileage and overall costs,” adds Mark.

RoadNet Anywhere

Solera will also be demonstrating the power of RoadNet Anywhere, its cloud-based optimisation, dispatch, and communications solution for the first time in the UK. RoadNet Anywhere introduces an unprecedented level of efficiency to final mile logistics or job allocation schedules, minimising mileage and boosting productivity.

It combines route optimisation, including multidrop and multiday planning, with telematics, dispatching, proof of delivery, customer notifications, and business analytics, all in one place.

“The pressure on driver availability and fleet costs means that eliminating unnecessary driving time is more essential than ever. RoadNet Anywhere means smarter fleets, safer drivers, lower mileage and lower costs, all benefits that no modern operators can afford to ignore,” explains Mark.

The ultimate cost control tools

Solera’s fleet solutions offer substantial cost control benefits for road transport operators. In the face of rising insurance premiums, vehicle repair inflation and fuel bills, these products enable:

  • Lowered collision risk
  • Locations, incident, and KPI tracking
  • Exceptional cloud-based insurance evidence and rapid FNOL
  • Robust defence against fraudulent claims
  • Lower fuel costs, lower uninsured costs, and better asset protection
  • Greater route productivity, better drop density, and less unplanned downtime
  • Greater driver welfare and higher morale
