Reports can be scheduled to run automatically at regular intervals and then emailed directly to relevant team members. Whether you’re a fleet manager tracking vehicle movements, an operations team monitoring mileage, or a safety officer reviewing driving events, this update ensures you get the data you need, straight to your inbox, precisely when you need it.  

What reports can you schedule? 

You can set up automated reporting for the following: 

• Driving events – Insights into incidents such as harsh braking, acceleration, and near misses to help identify trends before they escalate. 

• Trips – Track vehicle journeys, including stops and overall route patterns. 

• Speeding – Monitor excessive speed across your fleet to ensure compliance with safety regulations. 

• Geofence – Receive reports when vehicles enter or exit designated zones, such as job sites, depots, or restricted areas. 

• Mileage – Keep track of vehicle usage to optimise fuel efficiency and manage maintenance schedules.

How it works – simple and efficient 

You can fully customise your scheduled reports in the CameraMatics dashboard by setting: 

• Report frequency – Daily, weekly, or monthly. 

• Reporting period – Yesterday, last 7 days, or last month. On the day reporting not available.  

• Time of delivery – Set the exact time reports should be generated. 

• Specific report days – Weekly (choose the day of the week), monthly (select the date). 

• Recipient selection – Assign internal colleagues to receive reports automatically. 

These updates ensure that the right data reaches the right people at the right time. 

 Who is this update for? 

• Approved users: Anyone with the right permissions can set up scheduled reports. 

• Internal emails only: Reports can only be sent to colleagues within your organisation. 

• Organisation-based scheduling: Admins can schedule reports only for their own organisation, not external partners. 

Each user can schedule up to 20 reports at a time, giving you plenty of flexibility.
