Nevpa UK launches business in Leicester selling commercial vehicle parts

Leicester, 22nd March – Nevpa UK Ltd has begun production at it’s first UK site under the Nevpa Group originating in Turkey.

The collaboration originated from Mesut Sayar and his daughter Hazel Sayar from London, wanting to bring their high quality products and manufacturing knowledge to the UK market, with the help of Charlotte Harris who is Leicester based and experienced in the commercial vehicle market.

The 25,000 square foot factory in Thurmaston, Leicester delivers capacity for holding and producing tens of thousands of products and will create up to 50 new jobs, Nevpa UK says.

This CV parts leader, said that the new factory and production is “proof of its commitment to the city of Leicester and British manufacturing”.

The site will also be used to distribute products from a network of British and a few multi-cultural suppliers which will be a reflection on the diverse city that Nevpa is now home to.

Nevpa UK Director- Charlotte Harris says “The Thurmaston site and Nevpa venture reinforces our commitment to UK manufacturing, and we want to create a long-standing partnership with Leicester city”

“Nevpa historically has manufactured it’s goods at it’s Nevsehir and Bursa sites in Turkey, but we want to take this knowledge and extensive product range to manufacture these high quality products in the United Kingdom”

“We welcome the opportunity to share our knowledge within the commercial vehicle sector and enable our customers to get hold of parts that will be stocked centrally in the UK for next day delivery. We also hope to strengthen our collaborative working relationships with our approved suppliers in the UK and abroad. This is a very exciting new chapter for the Nevpa Group.”

Initially, the company plans to gain knowledge of which products it’s customers have a demand for. The main goal will be to focus on producing and stocking these components, in order to enhance the process for building commercial vehicles that are at a shortage globally.
