The latest data from the SMMT show total CV registrations up 25.3% to 48,756 in March.  For the rolling year the total is up 22.7% to 276,584.  Within that, March trucks over 3.5 tonnes rose 11.2% to 4,682 while the rolling year total is up 12.5% to 36,543.  Vans did even better, up 27.0% to 44,074 in March, with the rolling year up 24.4% to 240,041.  Heavy vans and artic tractors led the led the way, with clear signs of the market polarising around maximum capacity vehicles as operators look for maximum efficiency.
