Optrak is launching its new cloud-based route optimisation and planning software for designed for strategic and operational planning mixed eHGV and ICE (multiple fuel type) fleets.

Using Optrak's route planner, transport and fleet managers can both carry out daily planning of its existing fleet and strategically explore different transition strategies for introduction of low-carbon on the basis of existing data.

Optrak's new optimisation makes use of the latest research into optimisation techniques (parallel metaheuristics) and AI-based auto-tuning to achieve optimised solutions that are up to 20% better than manual planning and 5%-10% better than previous generation optimisers.
