Trailer specialist Gary Beecroft of consultants Clear says Western European trailer markets fell 51% last year but he expects a 16% rebound this year.  This is in spite the first half on 2010 running at 8% below 2009's figure.  Beecroft's optimism was widely borne out by trailer and truck makers at the Hannover IAA last week; several expect that this year's deliveries may rise by an average of 20% across Europe, compared to last year's dismal figures.  The first half of 2010 ran at 8% below 2009's figure, but by April/May most countries' trailer registrations positive and Beecroft thinks the full year will end with trailer registrations alone up 16%.
