Transdev Blazefield subsidiary Lancashire United Transport just got eight Optare 12m Tempo heavy-duty single-decker buses.  These will work on the firm's 225 route between Bolton and Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley, East Lancashire.  Each bus has 49 black leather Esteban seats, double glazing for the passenger compartment, Denso air conditioning for the driver and a Compak powered ramp for wheelchair access.  The Tempo has a 210kW and 1120 Nm Euro 5 Mercedes-Benz driving through an Allison T310R five-speed automatic transmission with integral retarder.  Ray Stenning of Best Impressions did the new livery and external route branding.
