The Zero Emission HGV and Infrastructure Demonstrator (ZEHID) programme is leading the charge in decarbonising UK freight. Backed by '200 million from the Department for Transport and delivered with Innovate UK, the initiative aims to deploy 350 battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell HGVs and support 70+ infrastructure sites by 2030. This session will provide a key update on ZEHID's progress, milestones achieved, and the road ahead in driving zero-emission logistics and meeting net zero goals.
