The Route to 2040 panel includes Brian Mormino, Executive Director – Worldwide Environmental Strategy & Compliance at Cummins Inc, who will focus on the opportunities and challenges of electrification with commercial and public transport vehicles.
The UK and Europe panel will give a unique update on the progress and potential impact of Brexit on all sectors of automotive manufacturing, including truck, van, bus and coach.
The Future of Border Logistics panel will explore the implications of Brexit on automotive firms that import or export goods, with speakers from the British Ports Association, Eurotunnel and others to be announced.
The event will also include a political keynote speech from the Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP, the Secretary of State for Transport.
SMMT will launch its 19th UK Automotive Sustainability Report at the summit. It is the longest-standing sector sustainability report, which features essential data about all areas of the industry including Commercial Vehicles.
