And this time, it really is final, for me at least; this is my last issue of Transport News Brief.  I leave the SMMT after a little over 10 years, on 14 April.  I started the newsletter, then called CV News Brief, in 2000 as an SMMT service to the commercial vehicle industry.  The circulation was just over 200.  Now there are some 54.500 named subscribers and possibly over 200,000 readers.  That growth is largely due to a steady supply of good news stories, so my special thanks to the many people who've kept me informed each week.  Dealing with those stories has been fascinating.  And The knowledge that the publicity has helped people and businesses has been hugely rewarding.  Thank you and I wish you well for the future.
