Axtec will launch a new hire purchase scheme on its stand 5J64 at the CV Show, to help operators buy and fit its range of axle weighing systems quickly and cheaply.  Called Aim, for Axtec Install & Maintain, it covers all the firm's systems, OnBoard Load Indicators, fixed weighbridge systems and portable weighpads.  A monthly hire charge and small final purchase payment covers fitting and maintenance for the length of the contract.  At that point, the customer can return the kit to Axtec or keep it.  With a national shortage of public weighbridges, one installed on this basis could be a valuable source of revenue, says, Keith Gresham, MD.  "The Public Weighbridge in our yard in Runcorn generates £7,500 a year of additional profit."
